Reality without Ether

Or the Higgs, whatever. HT Steve Gerrish. I'm happy to be reminded by Extreme Tech that Hawking also bets like me that there is no Higgs. It's just a function of the Standard Model's correlationist overmining. Kind of a neurotic symptom to "complete" and "normalize" a lossy view.
