“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Thanks so much for posting this mp3, which I ran across today (after talking to a colleague the other night who was present at this talk). Also saw the short video at Footnotes to Plato (http://footnotes2plato.com/2011/11/26/bruno-latour-waiting-for-gaia-composing-a-common-world-through-political-art/#comment-1952), and posted a question there that I wanted to pose here too just in case: Does anyone know if there's a text of this talk out there, or whether the full video of the talk has become available? Couldn't quite make out everything in the mp3, but would love to read/see/hear the whole thing. I'd very much appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!
